In the past I was PE and SO was SE, and if we weren't on the same PNR (i.e. different schedules) I'd get F and he wouldn't. But, to make it up to him I'd always take the middle seat when stuck on a TATL in Y (which he hates). So it all works. Now that I'm GE and he has nothing, I hardly get UG'd anyway.

The worst was flying AZ BRU-MXP-YYZ at Christmas when I got op-uped the whole way, and Biz was empty. Little did I know they changed him from his window to a crappy seat in Y and there was nothing I could do about it. It was too late to switch too (and the Alitalia FAs aren't very nice). Felt bad about that one.
