If you like Japanese food be sure to select that onboard on the flights to and from NRT. On SQ the business class Japanese meal is called Hanagoyomi. Not sure what it is called on NH.

There should be BTC for NRT-SIN, SIN-MLE and SIN-NRT.

Bags should be able to be through checked all the way. Carryons can be stored for a low fee airside at SIN while you visit the city. If you have onward BP then you only need to be back in time for gate closing 10 minutes prior to departure (allowing time to get to your gate in T2 and pick up any stored carryons en route). However, I prefer to arrive back 90-100 minutes before departure to allow for delays along the way, and also to give enough time for a quick shower and freshen up in the lounge before boarding.
