It's a shame that 'Spirit of Friendship' hydrofoil stopped running from (Seattle to) downtown Victoria to the seabus terminal in Vancouver. We took it once, in about 1988, and it was a blast! Picture perfect June day in the mid-60s, airplane-style seats, "flight" attendants and a movie. For less than 50 bucks as I recall.

The view outside, out back, with that huge plume of water throwing back, cruising in amongst the islands, was spectacular!
