When I was first in Iquique (north of Chile) and saw that there was a TV station from India (and also, from China), I was quite surprised. It is a duty-free trade zone and full of people who would watch such programming. Sometimes in places you least expect, you have markets you don't expect. I am getting more accustomed to seeing people on flights who speak, i.e., Spanish and Japanese as their two languages, but really no (or limited) English.
