My fiancee and I will be traveling to the Maldives for our Honeymoon at the end of May. Last July we booked the flight using Mileage Plus miles and our flights are as follows:

This is our first time to Asia, first time in Business class, and first time one either NH or SQ. What I really need is advice on what lounges we can use at each airport, what our BTC options are for each flight (like do some of them include dinner and breakfast, or do we get it on the SIN-MLE legs), and if we can check our bags all the way through from IAD to MLE? I have a few other questions as well.

What we plan on doing is sleeping at the Ambassador Transit hotel in Singapore after arriving on the morning of Wed the 28th, then going out and sightseeing that day before heading back to Changi for our night flight. Since our flights are so far apart will we be able to leave our bags checked and just deal with our carry-ons? We would probably keep a change of clothes in the carry-ons to put on when waking up in the morning, then putting the carry-ons in left luggage while exploring Singapore, then picking them back up before boarding that night.

Also, when and where can we get our NRT-SIN and SIN-MLE boarding passes? Will we be able to get them in IAD when checking in for the first flight, or will we have to get them in NRT or SIN? I'd like to get them as early as possible. I'm hoping we don't need to get the SIN-MLE ones that evening since we'd like to go out to an early dinner in Singapore and only head back to the airport at 7pm or so for our 8:35 flight. How early do we really need to get back there?

The one thing I think we are ok with is our seat assignments. Since we reserved last July we managed to get seats 17HK for the NRT-SIN and SIN-NRT legs. These are the best we can do correct? We also got 12AC on the Male legs and 3AC on the NH flights which looked pretty decent on seatguru. Please feel free to tell me if there are any better options.
