I would like to add one additional item to this thread:

As suggested to us some time ago by you, the FlyerTalk members of the Hilton HHonors forum, many threads do not immediately get merged with their larger counterparts for the precise reasons that specific questions may be answered first before they are eventually merged.

We must be doing something right because we have not heard from anyone in a long time regarding our current practice of merging threads.

As squeakr correctly pointed out, the Search function of FlyerTalk is not infallible, especially in its current form. Please feel free to report to us any threads that you believe should be merged together. However, squeakr and I believe that assisting FlyerTalk members here in the Hilton forum is our top priority, and we will do whatever we can to ensure that that not only remains our top priority, but that it is executed successfully and continuously.
