"I've been watching with interest the coverage of the American Airlines cancellations and was relieved to hear AA had decided to refund passengers for cancelled flights or provide other forms of compensation-as well they should. I thought you'd be interested to know how AA plans to compensate it's flight attendants who have for the second time lost pay due to the cancellations; they're not. We have been informed that if we want to be paid for the trips we have lost due to this massive screw up by management we can use our vacation time.
