Do I read hope somewhere between "due to some extensive administrative updates..."?? Could it be a swap-software-update they were referring to? I recall my last Hilton redemption (last year) took much longer than usual. When I emailed Mypoints, I got a form letter with the 6-8 weeks reply.

As far as I can tell the Hilton transaction was taking longer to complete during the last 1-2 years. If they are working on speeding up the whole redemption process, I can surely hang on to Mypoints and wait for the return of Hilton.
