60 minutes is the minimum connect time at KUL I believe, so it's doable - though I'd only do it if I was on the one ticket all the way through, I wouldn't be combining them. If your international flight comes in to the Satellite terminal and the domestic flight departs from the main terminal (which is the usual way things go) then you'll use most of that time.

Passengers in transit to a domestic flight go through a separate area to the rest of the passengers, and you only have to clear immigration - customs is cleared at your final destination within Malaysia (not so much of a worry for you with only carry-on luggage). The immigration check-point connects directly to the Domestic area, so you don't need to re-clear security either.
