I was on that flight on Friday (4/4) and we also had a plane swap - our plane was sat at the gate with an mx issue, so they brought in the 747 that was supposed to be flying to Frankfurt (UA 900) an hour later. I guess they figured that an extra hour would be enough to resolve whatever issue it was and that the FRA flight would leave pretty much on time.
