Transferring international/domestic flights at KUL

If one is arriving at KUL on an international flight then connecting to a domestic flight, would one hour be enough, assuming I have all my boarding passes on hand and I have no checked baggage ? Does everybody go through passport control at the same place or do passengers connecting to domestic flights go to a "transit" location near the domestic part of the terminal for passport clearance ?
