The only other points card I happen to carry is the aforementioned SPG American Express, and it does have an annual fee of $45/year, last I checked (when it began just a couple of years ago, it was $30/year). I echo the feelings about Amex customer service; even though it's India, it's far more knowledgeable than Bank of America card services.
