Seriously, I've never been able to pre-assign in economy, even on long-haul, although perhaps I'm not asking the right people.
Lol, I don't think it is fear...maybe just a bit of kharma coming back to me for suffering at ORD in December.

The seats were assigned via the ICC. 21 AC on the way out last week and 30 HK on the way back. A separate call has sorted an economy seat for me on MAN - ORD in a week and a half as well.

Must be a note in my profile or something. Perhaps Nigel himself will be serving me a brew and a biscuit on my next flight
