I think alanw was suggesting (or wondering whether) you had left out a term, since you used the possessive form. I.e., "Vayniacs's _____." Are they just called "Vayniacs" or are they "Vayniac's [groupies, devotees, mavens, etc.]"?

Not being at all familiar with the phenomenon in question, I have no idea myself.
