Recent stay here at FS Vancouver is only average. After hearing about superior service, wonderful attitudes of staff, etc., etc, etc. I had high expectations. But, service (at least by housekeeping) is only okay (forgotten toiletries, not vacuumed, etc). Checkin reception was excellent, however, as were the various concierges we contacted with simple questions. But, overall, the FS here would at best be a 4-star hotel, certainly not 5-star. Fitness center is really good, but pool is too chilly. Rooms are very tired, the hallways and lobby are freezing, and the selection of TV channels is poor (why are there fewer choices in the rooms than in the fitness center?). All in all this is an okay hotel, but I wouldn't make it my first choice on another visit.
