I second the recommendation of
http://del.icio.us as I've been using it since 2004. It's a great place to find sites related to and similar to your favorites on topics that interest you. I also wanted to provide the correct URL to help OP find it.

Google Browser Sync to sync bookmarks across my half-dozen installations of Firefox.
