Thanks ahead for input.
I'm finalizing the details of our ireland journey (separate itinerary critique thread to follow) but I need some input on vehicles.
Driving stick shift isn't a problem, but with 6 of us and luggage, some sort of people mover/van is a must.
The best option I've seen seems to be the VW caravelle. That model, however, never made it to this side of the pond, so I need to know how it compares size-wise to US minivans. Our trip is going to be at least 12 days, so I need to know if the back of this thing will hold 4 teenagers, 6 suitcases (medium size, not steamer trunks) and one set of golf clubs ... without me wanting to waste a good golf club on teenage heads by day 11.
Any other sage advice gratefully accepted (other than the obvious leave the teenagers home

)
