I recently took a Delta flight from Atlanta-Quito, Ecuador and was credited for the correct number of miles (2,355) However, on the return trip, the plane first went from Quito-Guayaquil (all were required to deboard the plane and then get back on the same plane), and then went from Guayaquil-Atlanta. I was credited with the same number of miles as the departing flight (2,355). Since this was a longer flight, shouldn't I get more miles, and possibly even an additional segment?
