I assume that you are looking for a 3-day trip from ORD (the sale isn't available from MCI that is listed in your profile). I see the L/T ($288 base) available for outbounds on 5/10, 17, 21, 24, 28 and 31, and also 6/4. I did find L/L ($258 base) on a 6 night trip in August, if that floats your boat.

The only other reason I can think of that you can't get the L/L pricing even on days that L inventory is available is that you are not meeting some other rule(s) of the L ticket. Try the 30-day search tool. It works wonders for something like this.
