so why is United trying to kill me?

That's right. I hit 200,000 YTD status miles today. And 90%+ of that was domestic travel on F/A/C/Y/B fares. It's mid-September, so I have three and half months left and lots of travel planned. Instead of more upgrades certs, higher status, plateau bonuses, 2 for 1 mileage awards, I get no 1K Centers, massive restrictions on the few cheap pleasure trips I take, $100 stand by fees....well you get the picture.

I am feeling a bit unloved...

But on the bright side, I am really helping United stay alive...
