I would enjoy a stop over in Paris. The flight leaves late enough that you can indeed spend the night in Paris proper and still make it the airport with plenty of time for your flight.

However, the time it'll take you to get off the plane, go through customs and immigration (maybe not if its schengen), pick up your bag, wait for the airfrance bus, go into paris and check in -- you might as well stay at the airport.

Just kidding....
