MUC is a much nicer airport than VIE.

But, Vienna has a lot more to see/do IMHO. I lived in Vienna for 6 months in 2006 - haven't been back since.. but I'm dying to. Walk along the Ringstrasse and Stephansplatz and you'll have more than enough to fill your day! Great museums, fantastic food, great cafe culture.. and excellent beer/wine!
