Priority Re-accomodation - what does this mean?

First off there is a thread on this from '05 which I wasn't going to resurface -

http://flyertalk.com/forum/showthrea...t=#post3590641

hence the new thread. Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone had additional insight on this irritating occurance.

I am in F from ORD-PVG. Originally had seat 2A. Log in today to find myself in 4A. Called AA - they told me it was a priority reaccomodation. The agent yammered something about having an equipment change. I said no - this is still a 777. Then they said schedule change - no - this flight is at the same time it always was. I asked if 1 and 2a were then pilot rest seats - nope. Regardless - the agent could not or would not tell me why I got moved.

I had upgraded from D with miles - I am wondering if AA has a habit of giving away seats to perhaps a full fare F?

Anyhow - no window seats left - is there any recourse?

Thanks!
