I am contemplating my first ever mileage run. I wonder if I am infact insane....? (actually, don't answer that question.)

Here's the deal: 4500 bonus destination mile offer for 1 return flight with BMI.

Coupled with: Easter Sale, UK domestic to LHR for £32 each way, taxes inc.

Hopeful for: 4500 miles for £62

Questions:

1. The sale flights are 25% mileage, but I imagine they count as sectors for this offer?
2. Is an immediate turn-around possible at LHR? (i.e. do you disembark into the departure lounge or do you have to go all the way back through check-in, security, lounge etc...)
3. Is this an effective use of £62 + parking + time?
4. And, actually, can you answer the first questions - is mileage running justifiable as sane anywhere outside of North America?
