I was at the IC Manila 3 weeks back and used the weekend ambassador certificate...

I booked a US$160/night room (with 4,000 bonus points) and got the second night free...

Room is small about 30 sqm and TV is old like 5 years and not flat screen...

Welcome fruits and drinks, I don't think there was an upgrade (never asked for one )...

Forgot my certificate on my day of checking out but came back a day later to hand it to the reception without them charging me 2 nights. Nice staffs. Crowne Plaza nearby has much better and bigger rooms at a lower price.
