A return on AC AKL to YYZ starts from NZ$2445. Will probably be better to do an open jaw returning from YVR instead for YYZ... unless you want to clock up the mileage and go back to YYZ from SEA.
I think it would be a good idea as you said it costs $2445 to YYZ and have a stop over in YVR, then continue to America with North America Air Pass. I don't really mind if I will have a stopover in YVR. I will need to find out the North America Air Pass.
