Anyway, I now have eight brand-spanking new 75 ml (less than 3 oz) cans, which should last me about one and one-half years worth of trips.

Wow, great site, can I ask which one did you buy? I don't want a 'helmet', so not sure which one of the options (Satin Extra, Satin Normal, Satin Extra Shine etc??) Also are they in cans or plastic ?...
