Hi bruceba, in the example provided above there was no Bahamian departure tax. Specifically, here's the breakdown of the $90.30:
42.30 Base Fare
3.00 Airport terminal surcharge (charged for flight arriving and departing Bahamas – applies to both adult and infant fares)
30.80 U.S. tax (7.5% of adult fare applied for travel within the US and for destinations that fall within 225 miles of the US border)
2.50 U.S. passenger civil aviation security tax (collected per US enplanement)
7.00 U.S. immigration and naturalization service fee (collected for each customer arriving the U.S.)
5.00 APHIS inspection fee (collected for each customer arriving the U.S.)
While this actually totals out to $90.60, our pricing system is incorrectly calculating the base fare $0.30 in the customer's favor. I hope this clarifies.
