I believe (and I do stress believe because I'm not sure) that you can go to your local ATO/CTO and have them note in the record that payment has been received (much the same way you would with a credit card).

I could be wrong, but I think it's possible at least... unfortunately I'm not trained in ticketing (although I wish I was and am pushing to be)
