Inspired by 925 (thanks for the FC link, btw), I was checking into some transcons out of JAX, and found JAX-CLT-MSY-DEN-PHX-SFO-PHL-JAX. The return segment (through SFO and PHL) gives a whopping 3907 miles on the return, with 2641 on the outbound for a total of 6548. Fare basis is LA14ON4, and the only day I was able to find a same-day turn was June 10. Below is the itinerary I found:

At $219 all-in, I'm calculating 3.3 cpm, which I think is pretty solid for a domestic run (I still have a $25 cert from a MP Visa, which supposedly requires a Saturday night stay, but I redeemed one once for a mid-week MR and it was applied to my itin without a problem, so that would bring it to just over 2.9 cpm). In any event, I have the above itinerary on hold and am debating whether or not to purchase it......

Edited to Add: I also found it interesting that with the recent announcement by US to drop the 500-mile minimum credit per segment, this shows up on this itinerary: outbound portion would be just over 2800 if JAX-CLT credited 500 miles, but it's only 329 miles so the outbound is only 2641 miles. Oh well, not a huge loss I suppose...
