Funny, I just began the same process! I need to replace my 16-year-old JLF garment bag. It's served me well, but I'm starting to feel the stares, especialy in business class!

I still want to stay with the garment bag theme and not venture into grandma wheelie territory (). The first bag that caught my attention at Flight 001, that hip travel store, was the Tumi T-Tech Tri-Fold:

I love the idea of a smaller form-factor garment bag ($250), but ended up not getting it because I think that triple folding will not permit more than one jacket and jeans to fit.

So, I'm now drifting in some different directions, like this Victorinox Garment Hybrid:

But it costs $595 at Amazon.com, so want to get my free flight attendant with that bag!

Anyway, look forward to posting more of my adventures here. Also, there are no reviews of garment bags to be found online anywhere, so weird!
