It costs approximately 1600 yen to ship my 30-kilogram diving bag from Narita to my home on the opposite side of Tokyo.

Or it did the last time I used it in 2007.
(1) Skyrocketing fuel costs have brought a rush of price increases.
(2) Outside rush hour, I take the limousine bus to TCAT, roll my bag down to the subway, and take the elevator up at Yoga Station.

One caveat: Shipping TO the airport costs 1200 yen more. "Storage charge" they say.
