I was at a reception last night and there were some Hilton people there. They were talking about some changes to the upgrade rules for members. It sounds like they are not going to allow Gold members to have access to the VIP lounges anymore unless they are upgraded. Sounds like Diamond will still get it.

This is great news if you are a Diamond as the lounges are overflowing - - -and not so good news if you are Gold. It is about time they did something about the number of people in the lounge!
