Should I tell them at ARN to check the bag through to PHL so I don't have to pick it up at baggage reclaim at Heathrow (risky, considering the problems Willy Walsh and Co are having), or am I asking for problems?

The LHR-PHL flight is leaving from T4 the following day.

Any advice?
Not to be negative but after reading all the threads about luggage gone missing and T5 I would guess that it probably does not matter where you check it to as it will probably not show up anyway. Have you thought about shipping it back home via DHL
