With all the people that are getting their (2) rapid rewards tickets reisssued, will Southwest extend the expiration date from (1) year to (2) years? This 1 year expiration date has been a sore subject with me and have had to pay $50 to extend the expiration date which I think is a rip off anyway. A couple years ago, I flew a lot of WN and started saving awards due to information coming out about using awards to fly to Hawaii. I wanted to fly my whole family to Hawaii but before service started, some of my awards were set to expire. As a business traveler, sometimes I DON'T want to fly when I don't have to so why should be rewards expire? If WN really wants to cater to business travelers, they shouldn't set an expiration date on the awards. Just my $.02
