- 2 additional upgrade certificates every 10.000 miles flown with Avianca as an Executive Platinum member
So the agent in MIA was correct.
Thanks for sharing what your paper guide says and sharing your experiences. I'm still unsure though.. your guide says EX PLT get unlimited upgrades when space is available on domestic flights but the website says for domestic and international. Unable to wait for a response by mail (I'm thinking about trying to qualify this year) I called and an AviancaPlus rep told me that EX PLT get space-available upgrades on any flight as long as there is a seat available in Class "A." But then why would your guide say differently? This is the frustration I have with this airline... inconsistency... which is too bad because otherwise they have great inflight service and prices.
