Agreed. That's why I said "none of those run directly to downtown (Center City)." The best comparison is the Regional Rail from either Suburban Station or 30th St. Station. with one stop in University City and one at Eastwick, they're essentially express service. For $6 or $7 O/W, that's still a better deal than $15 O/W from downtown Houston to IAH. But, for distance traveled PHL is a lot closer to Center City, than downtown Houston is to IAH. So... YMMV.

I once took 2 buses to PHL from Bala Cynwyd (without taking the train). The 65 bus to the 69th St. Terminal and the 108 bus to the airport. It took forever. I tried it for kicks. I didn't get any kicks out of it.
