It does seem like a good option---with $6/day airport parking, $23 OW super shuttle, and $30 OW to split a cab and provide a tip.
However, I can't see a great success with $15 vs $1 on the 102.....though I did once miss a HP set of flights because a bus left DTC 10 min early and then when on the bus an hour later, the freeway was closed, so we had to take the frontage.
I think the true value is for Rice undergrad students, since we get a preloaded metro card and they refill it whenever we get low. It would be amazing if we could use it for this service....though I don't know why I'm saying this since I graduate in May...haha
