UAL: MIA hub rumours

We all know that United Airlines is building a new $800M terminal at MIA. The 15-gate terminal can handle 15 777s at one time, and all the gates are international. It will also house all other Star Alliance carriers at MIA. The terminal broke ground 17 January 2002, the only CIP that UAL did not cut or suspended after September, showing UAL's dedication to the market, which it wants 25% of by 2010. Now here is the latest rumour of what UAL would like to do (a wishlist of sorts) at MIA (as posted by "SegmentKing, a usually reliable source on airliners.net"):

MIA-MEX
MIA-SJU (2x daily)
MIA-GUA-SAL
MIA-SJO
MIA-PTY
MIA-LIM
MIA-POS
MIA-LHR (daylight flight; may happen sooner than later because BOS-LHR is now gone 26 October and MIA-London traffic is at the point were a fourth carrier can be approved under BII)

Express Operations:
ATL
TPA
MSY
IAH
MCO
SAV
RDU
JAX

Domestic:
MIA-MSP
MIA-PHL
MIA-LGA
MIA-BOS
MIA-DFW

Frequency addition:
2nd daily SFO
3rd daily LAX
2nd daily CCS
year-round EWR

In addition, SAS is expected in 2004, and Austrian should be back by summer 2003, and bmi promises they are coming once they are allowed to.
