Insurance Question re T5 Bags
Hello,
We were unfortunate enough to be involved in the T5 bag fiasco coming back from JFK and on to VIE on Monday.
Bit of a strange scenario but result is as follows. One bag came through ok and one did not, finally turning up today at the required destination (You would not believe the amount of phone calls it has taken, and then it still went to the wrong address!). I do however appreciate that some people are having to wait a lot longer to be reunited with there luggage.
The one bag that made it ok was mine and the other Mrs Kernow's. She has had to depart yesterday evening on a business trip and has had to buy about £150 odd pounds worth of stuff to see her through.
My question is who should be looking to for re compensation for the costs incurred? BA, BA AMEX insurance or AMEX PLAT insurance?
Is BA handling this?
