Apparently, DL has an exclusive on this type of seat for all North American carriers... meaning that AA, US, CO and so forth will not get them.
But according to the Thompson website, they can actually fit many more seats into the coach cabin, perhaps 40 more seats on a 767-300 at a 32 inch pitch.
So this raises the question about weight and the long distance routes like IST, TLV, AMM, CAI, LOS etc.
If they couldn't put PTVs on these planes in coach due to weight, how can you put 40 more pax and their luggage? And the new seats are pictured with 10 inch PTVs in the seatbacks.
