1) My company policy requires I use an American Express business travel website. The site passes every Frequent Flyer number to reservations except Southwest RR. I have to manually enter it on southwest.com every time. AMEX customer service claims it's Southwest's fault, that WN won't let AMEX pass a RR number to a reservation, and you must do it on their website. Is this true? Some kind of control issue?
2) Will WN ever have priority checkin or security lanes for A-listers? I'm based in PHX and the security lines can exceed 30 minutes at peak times. I carry a bunch of heavy tools and parts around so carry-on only is not an option unfortunately.
I flew US for the first time in a few weeks, got a first class upgrade to seat 1F. The plane was dirty, the GA and TA both acted like they didn't want to be there, and I was less comfortable than WN coach, and certainly less legroom and less comfortable than 11 A-C and the seat I've scored the last 4 flights, 12F. I will admit that non-bulkhead F is nice, but add the loss of 500 mile minimum mileage accrual, and WN has a new customer good for well over 100 segments a year.
