I understand the theory behind this, but airlines tickets are price elastic, and the more restrictions on low priced tickets, the more people will choose to select the low cost carriers like SouthWest, JetBlue, and Frontier. How can companies and travelers justify the high unrestricted ticket costs by the major carriers?
