This article reminds me of a question that has often crossed my mind. By law, you have to obey the air crew onboard. And you have to obey the TSA people. But do you really have to obey the airline employees who are neither air crew nor TSA, but who are the line gatekeepers? For example, the one at the bottom of the LAX escalator.
