Yes, you're right of course. I've done the above on various permutations. Also handy is the OAK-LAX-PSP-LAS-DEN-STL/IND routing for the truly masochistic (like me).

I would assume so, as long as T fares were available for all segs.

Looks like my best bet (for minimizing the hated CRJ's) will be OAK-DEN-MSP-ORD-STL and return STL-ORD-OMA-DEN-OAK.
