Unfortunately, his responses can de distilled down to "We'll spend a dollar to make a dollar ten, not to make 90 cents".
Based on my many years of flying out of EFD (and discussions with pax at EFD while EFD was in the process of closing), I know CO probably lost 30 to 50K pax/year from the Bay area & Galveston to WN.
So I'm still hoping someday and commuting to IAH in the meantime.

I would absolutely Fly CO because WN (Southwest right?(I am still new)) sucks plain and simple... 4 reasons.
1. That business option is garbage.
2. WN is the Greyhound bus of the airways. I used to take Greyhounds when I was a poor soldier. All sorts of kooks. When I fly CO I meet a lot of great and intelligent folks.
3. IAH is WAY better than HOU.
4. I dance with who has: A) Kept me safe.. WN is having FAA trouble plane wise, B) Never lost my luggage EVER, and C) Always had some sort of hook up or benefit for their FFs.
I wish CO would just bully their way into a stall in HOU just to tick off WN. I guess I need to explore flying from our small muni here in Galveston to IAH. Never really considered that....
