That seems highly implausible - something that would be glaringly obvious to auditers, any corporate lawyer worth their salt (as they could be personally liable to prosecution for knowingly breaching tax laws) and hence open to whistle blowing.
The above won't happen if the employees in question simply "forget" to file the claims for a few months...
