To be honest 1460 EUR doesnt sound soooo special considering it's the east coast and a Z fare.

Put in the time/money you spend to get to Tunis, maybe a stay at any hotel and then the awful departure times ex TUN. I remember it was 3:20AM last year.

There are certain specials on the market, either for AA, BA or LH. Eastcoast destinations are quiet low, you should be able to find something reasonable for 1800 EUR ex UK. Especially if you book on US websites and use the positive exchange rate AA.com for example is always at least 20-25% lower in price than booking it directly from the german website in EUR.
