I'm not doubting that Citi has changed service providers, and this may be an improvement. Just curious who they chose. As far as I know VIPdesk provides the concierge service for all other Citicards, and winning the contract for Chairman (Amex) must have been a coup for Circles. Likewise losing it must be a disappointment.

I do understand that Citi may not wish to reveal the name of the new provider if it is a trial arrangment or if it is, in fact, an upgraded unit of VIPdesk. Likewise I can understand that the provider may not wish to be identified if they heretofore have not provided service through a mass market enterprise like Citi because it could tarnish the illusion of exclusivity and undermine their membership pricing structure.

Nonetheless, it's very hard to keep these arrangements secret.
