At the risk of getting flamed for this overlapping with other DC threads (which didn't find any Res Inn specific)..

If you're four adults going to DC for pleasure, which Res Inn do you prefer?

For those that have stayed in the properties, please post your upgrade experiences (from studio to 1br or 2br, was stay paid or with points)

Residence Inn-Vermont Ave (Cat4, studio, 1br)
Residence Inn Dupont Circle (Cat4, studio, 1br, 2br)
Residence Inn Washington, DC /Capitol (Cat5, studio, 1br, 2br)

I was rather surprised to see the DC /Capitol as a cat 5, while the others are cat 4 - any idea why?
